Using frozen udon noodles for this dish is the best! I always have it in my freezer for a quick meal like this. It takes only less than 3 minutes to cook and it keeps a soft but chewy and bouncy texture when cooked just right. Cook them in rapid boiling water and once placed in stick around to watch it loosen up. When it loosens up, carefully separate the noodles. Cook according to package, but subtract 1 minute to get that chewy bite.

Adding the combination of fresh garlic, sesame seeds, pepper flakes, and gochugaru will add that extra oomph of flavor. Green onions and cilantro will add freshness to this dish.

Watching the hot oil sizzle over the noodles is my favorite part! The hot oil will pretty much give you a quick yummy chili oil. Sweet and savory soy sauce is what binds everything together. The sauce can be made with your everyday pantry items. Mix everything until we’ll combined and you have a quick and delicious meal in less than 15 minutes.
