Garlic Noodles with Jumbo Prawns & Shiitake Mushrooms

This sweet, salty & garlicky noodles will be a huge hit with your family. This sweet and savory dish can be on your dinner table in less than 30 minutes! So lets get cooking! 

Ingredients for the noodles⁣:

  • 1/2 pound of spaghetti or your choice of noodles⁣
  • 6 cloves of garlic finely minced⁣
  • 1 tsp garlic powder ⁣
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt ⁣
  • 1 stick of salted butter ⁣
  • 1 tsp black pepper ⁣
  •  2 tbsp oyster sauce ⁣
  • 1 tsp soy sauce ⁣
  • 1 tsp sweet soy sauce ⁣
  • 5 shiitake mushrooms thinly sliced (for dried mushrooms, rehydrate them in a bowl for 30 mins or until soft. Squeeze out any excess water before slicing)⁣
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese ⁣

Ingredients for the prawns⁣:

  • 7-8 jumbo prawns⁣
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt ⁣
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper⁣
  • 1 tsp oyster sauce ⁣
  • 2 gloves of minced garlic ⁣
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)⁣

Serves approximately 1-2 people


1. Cook noodles until aldente & set aside. ⁣ 

2. Mix all the ingredients for the prawns and cook for 1-2 mins on each side or until it turns pink and set aside. (Be careful not to over cook.)⁣

3. In the same pan, add in your butter until completely melted and add in your garlic, garlic powder, garlic salt till the garlic is fragrant. ⁣

4. Add in your cooked pasta and shiitake mushrooms. Mix well for about 2 mins and add in your soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Let the noodles soak all the sauce.

5. Turn off heat and toss in Parmesan cheese. ⁣

6. Add prawns on top and serve while hot. ENJOY! ⁣
